Allegheny County Economic Development

Allegheny County Economic Development's (ACED) implementation of the Bridgeway platform continues to grow every year with new funding application workflows and administrative tools, including payment request and tracking tools like those required by City of Pittsburgh.  Additionally, their internal administrative tools are customized to include ongoing project management and compliance tools.  These database applications allow staff and executives to enter and report on comprehensive information across an array of funding programs and project types from the proposal phase through project completion.

ACED has used the Bridgeway platform to collect over 4,000 program applications that total almost $1.2 billion in funding requests.

In addition, the ACED solution includes many customized features, including GIS mapping integration.  Depending on the application type, applicants can leverage various Allegheny County data sets to visually select census tracts and block groups, block lots, and other information that can then be related to municipality and demographic data by county admin users during the reporting and evaluation process.
